On behalf of everyone at Maggie’s I would like to personally thank you for your support of the Lisa’s Austerity Ball. The event was a hugely succesful and the donation of your time to create a short Maggie’s film was inmensely appreciated.
Your approach was insightful, professional and the manner of the filming captured what a Maggie’s centre is all about.
Having showed the video to many colleagues we have agreed to screen this at future events. The first of which will be our Ladies Lunch on 17th May 2013 at the Sheraton Hotel which will be attended by over 500 guests. We believe that the power of the film will undoubtedly add something special to the event and give everyone in attendance a true piece of Maggie’s to take away with time.
We are busier than ever here in Edinburgh seeing over 75 people everyday and over 17,000 this year. This figure continues to rise with even more expected through the door in 2013. It is wonderful that more and more people are becoming aware of the work that we do and accessing the support we can offer.
People with cancer need Maggie’s on the doorstep of their hospital which makes your support so essential. It is only with the commitment and generosity of those who contribute to our work that we can continue growing and supporting many more people affected by a cancer diagnosis.
Thank you for your support. I look forward to keeping you updated on our progress.
I am part of a networking group called F4B aka First for Business and every year we nominate a charity of the year and this year it is Redwoods Caring Foundation. Here is a photograph of Sabine Klaus together with Kenneth Whitton from Glenavon Insurance handing over a large cheque (printed courtesy of SMKPrint) to Jeanette and Ros at Redwoods.
Creation Editor Ltd had also the pleasure in making the video of Redwoods in January 2013:
